Marnika Rose Weiss is an artist/stylist based in Los Angeles. She received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and also studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins in London. After moving to LA in 2005 she gained years of experience working under the guidance of designer/stylists Marjan and Maryam Malakpour of NewbarK.

Throughout her career, she’s helped create looks for musicians on world tours, album packaging, TV appearances/performances, music videos, and more. Her work has been printed in several publications ranging from Spin to Lucky Magazine, some of which were featured on Marnika worked on countless commercial productions, television shows, feature films, advertising campaigns, and red carpet events. She is well known for her ability to understand clients’ personal style, and apply it to the look they hope to present to the world.

In 2016, Marnika created a collection of acrylic paintings inspired by her years in fashion, which she exhibited in a Solo show as well as the Frogtown Artwalk. She also started a collaboration with Ultraviolet Kids which began by painting photo-backdrops for both their fall and sping/summer campaigns, then a mural on their store front in Atwater village and lastly, illustrating a coloring book inspired by their brand. Marnika worked closely with Jolyn and several of her illustrations are featured in their swimwear textile prints.
